IMI Vehicle Damage Assessor - Hastings

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum, plus bonus.

• Join the UK’s largest accident repair group at our busy and growing Hastings workshop.


• Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the full extent of damage, repair costs, and estimated repair times.


• Identify the correct repair methods in line with manufacturer and insurer standards.


• Prepare, record, and maintain accurate electronic and manual repair estimates.


• Liaise with insurance companies to obtain repair authorisation.


• Communicate effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians to explain repair methods and progress.


• Assess a wide range of vehicle makes and models, ensuring repairs meet industry standards.


• Keep up to date with manufacturer repair methods, technical bulletins, and insurer requirements.


• Work closely with colleagues across the bodyshop and other departments to ensure efficient workflow.


• Deliver a high standard of customer service, helping return vehicles safely and promptly.


• Essential: Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor and a full UK driving licence.
