Associate / Director – Building Services

Location: Leeds

Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 DOE

Zest4Talent is working with an established Building Services consultancy looking to make two key senior appointments as part of its growth across the Leeds and York region.

We are looking for experienced Mechanical and Electrical Building Services professionals at Associate through to Director level who want more than simply another senior design position.

These individuals will play a key role in delivering several significant project opportunities in the region, developing client relationships and ultimately helping to build and grow a new team around them.

The opportunity

Lead the Mechanical or Electrical delivery of major Building Services projects

Work across large-scale BTR/PBSA residential and industrial/logistics developments

Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients

Identify opportunities for additional work and contribute to regional business development

Provide technical leadership and oversight across projects

Mentor and develop engineers as the team grows

Work closely with the wider leadership team to establish and grow the consultancy's presence across Leeds and York

About you

Established Associate, Associate Director or Director-level Building Services professional

Strong Mechanical or Electrical technical background

Ideally degree-qualified in an appropriate engineering discipline

CEng or equivalent highly desirable

Strong track record delivering significant Building Services projects

Experience within BTR/PBSA and/or industrial and logistics developments

Commercially aware with strong client relationships

Confident, personable and credible in a highly client-facing environment

Able to combine technical expertise with the interpersonal skills needed to develop relationships and build a successful team

This is particularly suited to somebody who has reached senior level within an established consultancy but would relish the opportunity to have greater influence, build something and play a central role in the growth of a regional team.
