Creative SPARC Architects is looking for a talented and motivated Project Architect / Architect to join our team in Lytham, Lancashire.


We’re an established, design-led independent architectural practice with a close-knit team and a varied portfolio of ambitious projects across the North West. We take pride in producing high-quality architecture while maintaining a supportive working environment and a healthy work/life balance.


This is a full-time role for an organised, confident and creative architect who enjoys taking responsibility for projects, working closely with clients and consultants, and contributing to thoughtful, high-quality design from concept through to delivery.


We welcome applications from both recently qualified architects and more experienced candidates.


The Role


  • Leading a varied range of architectural projects, including residential, commercial, cultural and heritage schemes
  • Developing projects from concept design and planning through to technical design, construction and completion
  • Preparing and coordinating designs, drawings, specifications and other project information
  • Liaising directly with clients, consultants, contractors, local authorities and other project stakeholders
  • Coordinating and supporting other members of the project team where required
  • Attending client and consultant meetings, site visits and surveys
  • Taking ownership of project organisation, coordination and delivery
  • Contributing to the continued development, culture and success of the practice


About You


  • ARB registered Architect
  • Experience working within a UK architectural practice
  • Confident taking responsibility for projects and managing your own workload
  • Able to produce clear, accurate and well-coordinated design and technical information
  • Good knowledge of UK planning, Building Regulations and construction processes
  • A strong communicator who is comfortable dealing directly with clients, consultants and contractors
  • Organised, reliable and able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Ideally proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and other relevant architectural software
  • Enthusiastic about good design, problem-solving and providing an excellent service to clients

Hours & Salary


  • 37.5 hours per week
  • £30,000–£40,000 per annum, depending on relevant experience
